As I have never blogged before, I have no idea what I'm doing. If you are currently reading this, I'm sorry.

Some things to know about me:

1. I am not funny. Well, I like to think I'm funny, but most people don't catch on to my dry sense of humour.

2. This blog is going to be used as a repository of my inane ramblings, musings, and various brick-a-brak. You may find it informative; you may even find it entertaining, but probably not. Anyway, as such a repository, I will only post when I feel like it.

3. I am a conservative Christian who believes in the Constitution as written by the Founders of the United States of America. If you have a problem with any of that, I will probably end up offending you.

Andrew Breitbart

It seems to be a sad day for all freedom-loving conservatives in our great nation.  Andrew Breitbart, one of the most outspoken proponents of We The People against Big Government, has died.  Here's the story from Breitbart's main website.

As I would have expected, many on the political left are licking their chops at this event, and apparently don't even have enough human decency to not say nasty, hateful things about him.  Don't take my word for it; look at their Twitter posts here.  It's sad that this sort of thing is not only acceptable, but encouraged by many liberal leaders.  And yet, such vile filth is never acceptable coming from political conservatives.  The double standard in this country never ceases to amaze me.

  1. There is no question about there being a double standard, but I will never stoop to their puerile level. The account of Breitbart's final hours is most interesting because he spent it debating with someone to the left of him who ended up being impressed by the man. Not a bad final impression to leave behind and I only hope I can do the same when my number is up.
